Residence Complex in Porto Heli

The building complex comprises of five distinct autonomous residences that use solar energy for heating. Each residence is superimposed over the previous one to create extended balconies and take advantage of the beautiful view of Porto Heli Bay. Three different typologies are developed, which allow the placement of solar collectors on each different level, without sacrificing either the view or the unity of the balconies. The solar gain characteristics are improved by the use of pergolas situated at the start of each balcony. The materials used are reinforced concrete insulated on the interior of the buildings, aluminium casement windows and doors, as well as wood for the decks, the pergolas and the shutters.
